STE. GENEVIEVE, MO — On Wednesday, August 13th, from 9 a.m. 5 p.m. the Ste. Genevieve County Library invites the community to experience the library like never before—with a full 18-hole mini golf course winding through the stacks!
This unique event transforms the library’s spaces into a fun and interactive course where players will putt their way through fiction, nonfiction, and even the Young Adult section. Participants of all ages are welcome to test their skills, navigate creative book-themed obstacles, and enjoy the library in a whole new way.
“Events like this highlight how the library can be both a place of learning and a space for community connection and play,” said Library Director Shawn Long. “We’re excited to offer a fun, free experience that brings people into the library for something unexpected.”
Library services will remain open throughout the day, though visitors may find themselves part of the action as players make their way through the stacks.
The event is free and open to the public.
Donations are welcome and will go toward future library programming designed to inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection for all ages.
