THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2025

 

215T Day of the July Term.

 

The Commission Met Pursuant to Adjournment.

 

Present were Presiding Commissioner Randy Ruzicka, Associate Commissioners Cory Ford and Mark Marberry along with Deputy County Clerk, Michele Gatzemeyer.

 

THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY PRESIDING COMMISSIONER RUZICKA AT 8:15 A.M.

 

THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING THAT WAS HELD ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 WERE READ. COMMISSIONER RUZICKA MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE SAID MINUTES AS PRESENTED. COMMISSIONER MARBERRY SECONDED THE MOTION. ALL IN FAVOR. MOTION PASSED.

 

Fuel Tickets submitted by R&B Foreman for most recent fuel supply through Heil Oil Company.

*Mr. Schmieder noted that he is in process of inspecting Hager Road; complaint surrounding road was made to ‘County’. Mr. Schmieder to determine if there is anything that can be done and, if so, what that might be.

*Mr. Schmieder advised that Hawn Park Bridge will need to be addressed in the future for ‘needed repairs’.

Jason Schott, Chief Deputy for SGCSO appeared before the Commission. The following items were noted:

 

*Confidential and Proprietary Work Order & Contract Agreement as established by Brooks Jefferey Marketing, Inc. was presented for signature by Presiding Commissioner to meet necessary requirements of ADA Compliance. (Copy of ‘Agreement’ attached to Commission Record Supplement for this Date.) Mr. Jason Schott also appeared on behalf of Ste. Genevieve ‘911’. He reviewed the fact that first ‘Requisition’ was made for the ‘1st half’ of bill from Tait Communications. After careful consideration, Commissioner Marberry made a ‘Motion’ to approve Purchase Requisition No. 91125-0001 Dated 9/11/2025 for the ‘Required’ 25% ‘Execution of Contract’ as was previously approved by the Commission. Commissioner Ruzicka seconded the ‘Motion’. Commissioner Marberry yea. Commissioner Ruzicka yea. All in favor. Motion passed. *Mr. Schott presented Purchase Requisition Request for 40% of VHF Frequency Planning and Licensing Services. After a great deal of consideration, Commissioner Marberry made a ‘Motion’ to approve Purchase Requisition No. 91125-0002 through RFCC Communications for Ste. Genevieve ‘911’. Commissioner Ruzicka seconded the ‘Motion’. Commissioner Marberry yea. Commissioner Ruzicka yea. All in favor. Motion passed. (Copy of said ‘Purchase Requisition’ attached to Commission Record Supplement for this Date.)

 

Officer Schott provided update to the Commission regarding ‘status’ of Ste. Genevieve County ‘911’ as the ‘County’, ‘City’, ‘EMS’ along with ‘Fire Districts’ are being asked to participate in funding of services due to the ‘Capital Improvements’ that are still necessary such as ‘Communications’, etc. to provide ‘911’ Services for Ste. Genevieve County. (Copy of ‘Explanation Letter’ attached to Commission Record Supplement for this Date.)

 

The Commission was made aware that Citizens Electric has started the process; building ‘pad’ has ‘begun’ on Citizens Property; trees being ‘cleared’. This is considered ‘Phase 1’ of the project. As additional information becomes available; said detail to be provided. Mr. Schmieder, R&B Foreman, to keep ‘eyes’ on project status.

 

Accounts Payable for Date 9/15/2025 in the amount of $105,959.39 were reviewed and approved for payment by the Commission.

 

ADJOURN

 

A Motion was made by Commissioner Marberry to adjourn @ 12:00 P.M. Commissioner Ruzicka seconded the ‘Motion’. Ordered that the Commission adjourn until 9/18/2025.
