STE. GENEVIEVE – Motorists using the Ste. Genevieve County Nutrition Center parking lot adjacent to the east side of the Plaza Ste. Genevieve to get to Parkwood Drive have been blocked by barricades now.
In a post on its Facebook page the city stated “For safety reasons, the northwest corner of the parking lot at the Ste. Genevieve County Nutrition Center (located behind the shopping plaza) will be closed to through traffic during ongoing street construction.
“Drivers may access Parkwood Drive from Pointe Basse Drive during this time.
“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our streets.”
Earlier the nutrition center posted pleas to drivers to slow down as they cut through their parking lot to get to Parkwood Drive.
