Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen meets

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen met Thursday for regular and work sessions.

 

No Aldermen were absent.

Mayor Brian Keim and the board presented Don Pritchard of KSGM Radio a certificate, recognizing him for his 35 years at the radio station. – 0:58

 

State Representative Bryant Wolfin presented his legislative report to the aldermen – 5:01

 

David Bova presented his city administrator report – 36:45

 

Staff reports were presented by Corey Litterest of Alliance Water  – 38:39 and SGPD report by Lt. Pollack – 41:50

It included minutes of recent meetings, the treasurer’s report and the following items:

 

A street closure request from Downtown Ste. Genevieve for the Pecanapalooza to be held Saturday, November 7. The closure will include Third Street from Market to Merchant, Merchant from Third to the Valle Desert, including both sides of the Isle of Flags from 6 a.m. to to 5 p.m.

 

A street closure request from the Jour de Fete Committee for the usual downtown streets from 1 p.m. Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th at 7 p.m.

 

Resolution 2026-46 declaring certain items of city property to be surplus the city’s needs.

 

Resolution 2026-47 was considered separately. The resolution appointing Guy ‘Ed’ Luttrell passed with 5 for and 3 opposed.

Bill No. 4732 amending Chapter 210 offenses of the Ste. Genevieve Code of Ordinances. 2nd reading passed 8 yes, 0 no, 0 absent. – 49:52
