Ste. Gen County Farmers Market offers fresh produce and more

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve County Farmers’ Market, located under the pavilion at the Knights of Columbus Hall, brings the freshest produce you didn’t grow yourself. Each Saturday from 7am-noon, the vendors offer a variety of seasonal, locally grown vegetables. This is the time for tomatoes, potatoes, summer squash, green beans, peppers, onions and so much more. Maple syrup, honey, mushrooms, fresh lemonade, cut flowers are often found to enhance a recipe or delight the table setting.

There is always an assortment of baked goods, home canned items and numerous prepared treats to supplement your menu.

 

Stop by and see what’s harvested at this time of year,  try something new, you may find a favorite.

The Ste. Genevieve Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon in the pavilion on the ground of the Knights of Columbus Hall at 600 West Market Street, Ste. Genevieve. It operates from May through October.
