  1. Be it Remembered: A meeting of the St. Mary Board of Aldermen called to order by the Honorable Mayor Adam Bequette on Thursday, September 24, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM at City Hall located at 782 3rd Street, St. Mary, Missouri 63673.
  2. Pledge of Allegiance: The Meeting opened with The Pledge of Allegiance
  3. Roll Call:
  • Aldermen answering the roll call were Alderman Rose Rosenzweig (Present), Alderman Dr. Zen Duda (Here), Alderman Melvin Frelix (Here).
  • Quorum present.
  1. Approval of Agenda: Motion to approve agenda as printed by Alderman Duda, second Alderman Frelix, all in favor, Alderman Duda (aye), Alderman Frelix(aye) , Alderman Rosenzweig (aye) motion carried.

Wanting Board to explain what can be done legally to enforce ordinances

Yard meter letters to be resent

 Unfinished Business:

  • Looking to get bids to assemble equipment from Colt Morris and Glasser
  • Simple Construction
  • Contacting Rep from Little Tykes to purchase additional equipment
  • Soccer goals in place
  • Utility lines marked
  • 44Golf balls in field tearing up mowers
  • Projected completion October 31st
  • Surveying done
  • Staked out
  • 4ft fence for safety
  • Budget
  • Mary Calcagno from MRWA coming in tomorrow to assist with budget
  • Property Tax freeze signed and adopted by County the City will honor
  • Lift Station
  • Up and running
  • Insurance claim (MOPERM) due to Brown out (power surge that fried components) Sewage Pump Solutions did work
  • Retrofitted parts to bring back to DNR compliance due to the age of the lift station

New Business:

  • Hours of City Hall open to public 3 days a week Closed to Public 2 days a week for work days only.

  • Served his community for almost a decade
  • Board presented a plaque in honor of service
  • Board thanked him for his dedicated service to his community

DEPARTMENT REPORTS:

  1. Emergency Management
    • Possibility of moving town Siren
    • Call about how to go about moving
    • Get bids
    • SEMA DPS look into grants
  2. Police Department
  • Non-existent
  • Valid points made by Mr. Barrnett
  • Going to address concerns the best we can with limited resources

  • Nothing to report
  1. Street Department
  • Line in new asphalt
  • Looking into
  1. Water/Wastewater Department
  • Plant is running as good as it can
  • Measurement for new rake taken ,2-3 week turn around
  • Rotars will be 12-15 week turn around
  • Missing ½ paddles
  • bearing needs to be replaced
