STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve High School Speaking Dragons had a standout showing at the Scott City Speech and Debate Invitational on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026.
Each SGHS competitor earned a medal, capping a strong close to the regular season!
Results include:
- Caiden Breeden and Tegan Graves — 1st place, Duet Acting
- Lucy Hunsley — 1st place, Prose Reading
- Ashtyn Neel and Caroline Roth — 1st place, Duo Interpretation
- Caroline Roth — 1st place, Dramatic Interpretation
- Charlotte Mooney — 2nd place, Poetry Reading
- Tegan Graves — 3rd place, Dramatic Interpretation
The Scott City Invitational marked the final regular-season meet for the team.
The Speaking Dragons will now shift their focus to preparations for the Missouri State High School Activities Association Speech and Debate District tournament.
