Sparta Community Hospital welcomes Dr. Umar Daud

SPARTA, IL – Sparta Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Umar Daud, a board-certified rheumatology specialist, to the Specialty Clinic at North Campus Healthcare—expanding access to expert rheumatology care for patients in the region.

 

 

 Dr. Daud will begin seeing patients two days per month mid-January, with plans to increase his time in April, helping meet the growing demand for specialty services close to home.

 

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Daud specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including arthritis, lupus, gout, and other rheumatic diseases. He treats patients 18 years and older and is known for his comprehensive, patient-centered approach that emphasizes accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and long-term disease management.

 Dr. Daud completed his residency training in internal medicine and rheumatology at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, where he gained extensive experience caring for patients with complex rheumatologic conditions. Dr. Daud is currently affiliated with SSM Health and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology.
