(Ste. Genevieve, MO) – Ste. Genevieve High School recently welcomed students from France for the 10th year of its French exchange experience.

The visiting students arrived Oct. 19 and spent nearly two weeks with local host families during their fall break. Throughout their stay, students shadowed their SGHS host siblings in class, giving them a firsthand look at American school, family and community life before departing Oct. 31.
The experience also gives SGHS students and families an opportunity to build friendships and learn more about French language and culture, creating a cultural exchange that benefits students on both sides of the Atlantic.
The program is a partnership between the SGHS French program, led by Mme Bre Uzzell, and FACES.
