STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School senior Tegan Graves has signed a national letter of intent to join the Central Methodist University Theatre Troupe. He was awarded a full-tuition scholarship from CMU in March.

Tegan is the son of Vern and Jamie Hill.
In attendance were his parents; his siblings: Isaiah and Veronica; and friends and classmates: Caiden Breeden, Carter Hogenmiller, Noah Jordan and Eleanor McKlin.

CMU theatre professor and director Dr. Mark Kelty; theatre director Katelyn Papin; choir director Michelle Jokerst; theater staff member Tyler Rodgers; speech and debate coaches Bre Uzzell and Christia Wolk; teachers Halleh Fallert, Athena McKlin and Dawn Moser; and school social worker Stephanie Gegg also attended to show their support.

During his time at SGHS, Tegan has been actively involved in band, choir and theatre, contributing to each program and building a strong foundation in the performing arts.

A school official stated “Tegan’s achievement reflects both his commitment to his craft and the opportunities available to students through Ste. Genevieve County R-II’s fine arts programs.”

The school official added, “The district looks forward to following his continued success at Central Methodist University and beyond!”
Congratulations, Tegan!
