STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School Senior Drake Meyer will wrestle for McKendree University.
On Tuesday, March 17, Ste. Genevieve High School senior Drake Meyer signed a national letter of intent to compete on the wrestling team at McKendree University. Drake is the son of Lance and Mandy Meyer.
In attendance were his parents; his brother, Parker; grandparents Kevin and Lori Meyer; aunt Sarah Carlson; girlfriend Ainsley McClard; Sara Vogt; Rage Faulkner and Hope Dougherty; and friends and teammates Colton Brace, Kinlee Brawley, Aniston Cremer, Hailey Davis, Alexis Femmer, Anna Fischer, Kathryn Herzog, Maximilian Kruppe, Julien O’Neill, Ragan Picou, Brylee Pollock, Maggie Price, Sylis Sansoucie, Brenden Sexton, Cierra Voelker, Abby Vogt, Cameron Vogt, Jacob Warren, Aila Wolk and Madden Wolk.
SGHS Head Wrestling Coach Jared Bonnell, coaches Justin and Tyson Roth, youth wrestling coach OJ Turner and SG R-II Athletic Director Dr. Jeff Nix also attended to show their support.
