STE. GENEVIEVE – A 2025 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School has placed second in a national art contest sponsored by the VFW Auxiliary.
Mallory Rottler competed in the 2024–2025 VFW Auxiliary Young American Creative Patriotic Art Scholarship Contest.
Mallory’s artwork earned here a $7,500 scholarship.
Her piece was entered in the local contest, then advanced to the station and from there entered the national competition, competing against top student submissions from across the country.
Her work may also be featured during the VFW Auxiliary National Convention this summer in Columbus, Ohio.
Mallory’s art teacher is Jamie Bauman.
