STE. GENEVIEVE – During Club Day on Oct. 8, members of the Ste. Genevieve High School French Club explored the art and beauty of Moroccan lanterns, known as ‘fanoos’.
Students created their own versions of these colorful lanterns, which are often used to decorate homes and festivals across Morocco.
After finishing their creations, students enjoyed French pastries as a sweet way to wrap up the activity.
The project gave students a hands-on opportunity to learn about Moroccan culture and artistry while celebrating the global connections within the French-speaking world.
The French Club is sponsored by Mme. Bre Uzzell.
