SGHS anatomy students gain real-world insight at SLU Medical School

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve High School students in Mrs. Danielle Yamnitz’s Anatomy classes recently traveled to St. Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine for a cadaver demonstration, offering a firsthand look at human anatomy beyond the classroom.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe cadavers generously donated to science and revisit the body systems they have studied throughout the year. \

Guided by SLU medical students, they explored each system through a hands-on demonstration of organs and their functions.

The experience provided a meaningful and eye-opening connection between classroom learning and real-world application.
