JEFFERSON CITY – September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time to spread hope, share resources, and remind our communities that help is available. Show-Me Strong Farm Families has a Mental Health toolkit available at wwwe.extension.missouri.edu/
Living and working on a farm or ranch can be isolating.
Rural areas have fewer counselors, and the work never stops.
However, help is available if you or someone you know is struggling.
The University of Missouri Psychological Services Clinic (PSC) offers no cost telehealth, confidential counseling for rural families in partnership with MU Extension.
Any Missouri farmer, rancher or immediate family member over 16 years of age is eligible. To setup an appointment:
- Call 573-882-4677
- Schedule an online appointment by filling out the informational form and privately submitting at muext.us/PSCFarmRanch
