SIKESTON, MO – Southeast Missouri Food Bank has announced several organizational updates designed to strengthen its ability to serve neighbors facing hunger across the region.

Camille Peters
Camille Peters has been named Chief Operating Officer and will oversee all operations, programs, and partner agencies.
“In her years with the Food Bank, Camille has shown a deep commitment to our work and the neighbors we serve,” said Joey Keys, president and CEO of SEMO Food Bank. “I know she will bring that experience and dedication to this new role as we continue to improve and expand our programs.”
Peters has been with Southeast Missouri Food Bank for more than seven years, serving in a variety of positions.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into this new role and continue driving operational excellence that moves our mission forward,” Peters said. “I look forward to supporting our team, improving our processes, and ensuring we can maximize the impact of our work for the neighbors we serve.”

Rebecca Lambert
Rebecca Lambert has also joined the Food Bank as corporate partnership manager.
“We’re excited to have Rebecca join the team,” Keys said. “This position was added as part of our strategic plan to strengthen corporate partnerships and engagement with the business community across our region. Rebecca’s experience with relationship-building will be vital to this role.”
Lambert will also be involved with volunteer engagement at the Food Bank, helping connect corporate partners and community members to hands-on service opportunities.
“I’m excited to join the Southeast Missouri Food Bank team and be a part of an organization making such a meaningful impact across our region,” Lambert said. “I look forward to building strong partnerships with the business community and supporting efforts to expand volunteer engagement.”
SEMO Food Bank serves families, children, veterans and seniors through a network of 140 partner agencies and direct-service programs across a 16-county service area. Southeast Missouri has some of the highest rates of hunger in Missouri, with 1 in 6 individuals, 1 in 4 children and 1 in 8 seniors living in homes that are food insecure. The five most food-insecure counties in the state are in Southeast Missouri.
