Search of residence leads to arrest on drug and weapons charges

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Police Department has reported the arrest of 38-year-old Jacob Allen Woolverton of Ste. Genevieve on the following charges:

Trafficking Drugs in the Second Degree

Two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon

The arrest was the result of the combined efforts of the Ste. Genevieve Police Department and The Mineral Area Drug Task Force, which conducted a search of a residence at 136 S. 7^th Street in Ste. Genevieve December 9, 2025.

The search led to the discovery of two firearms: a Smith and Wesson AR-15 and a Ruger pistol, along with more than four ounces of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
