A funeral will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 for 62-year-old Rhonda Susan Schatte of Steeleville, Ill., who passed away at 12:33 pm, Friday, August 22, 2025 at her residence.
She was bornMay 3, 1963 in Red Bud, Ill. to Bernie and Judy (nee Jany) Hubert, who survive in Steeleville, Ill.
She is also survived by four children: Audra Schatte of Austin, Tex., Ethan (Taylor) Schatte of Akin, Ill., Hannah (Austin) Angleton of Waltonville, Ill., and Emily Schatte of Campbell Hill, Ill.; three siblings: Ray Hubert of Steeleville, Ill., Linda Hubert of Steeleville, Ill., and Brenda (Bryan) Clauser of St. Peters, Mo.; a granddaughter: Maggie Schatte and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Rhonda had worked as a certified medical assistant at Chester Clinic and a certified nurses assistant at The Manor at Craig Farms in Chester.
She had also worked as a certified medical assistant in Pinckneyville, Illinois and Georgia.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Sparta, Illinois.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, in Chester, Illinois.

Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Chester, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, Ill.
