Project Pioneer wrapped up the Saturday of Jour-de-fete weekend honoring the German families of Eichenlaub, Eckenfels & the French Bono, in the upstairs meeting room of the Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center. Attendance prizes were awarded. Oldest man & woman attending received a framed crest and farthest traveled received a family t-shirt.
The speaker at opening ceremonies received their family book for free.

Oldest man attending, Leonard Naeger, 94, accepted by his niece, Linda Grass. Oldest woman attending, Lucille Joggerst, 78. Farthest traveled, Mary Frye, 200 miles accepted by Lucille Joggerst. After no French participation, one member of the Bono family came in to talk about his family in the afternoon.
