PERRYVILLE – The Perryville High School Silver Dagger Players invite everyone to their performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Nov. 6-8 at the Perry Park Center.
All performances begin at 7 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the door for $7, general seating.
According to the Silver Dagger Players, this is not the dramatic Shakespeare people may be accustomed to.
It is his funniest comedy with lots of misunderstandings, love potions, and spells being cast in both a fairy world and a human world.
This show will be most appropriate for anyone fifth grade and up, but there is enough action happening, that it should hold the attention of younger audience members too.
Language warning — there is a reference to the other word for donkey several times during the play.
