PERRYVILLE – The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several reports of stolen vehicles and thefts from vehicles.
The sheriff’s office reminds everyone to take the following precautions to reduce the risk of becoming a victim:
Do not leave keys, firearms, or valuables in your vehicle.
Always lock your vehicle, even when parked at home.
Park in well-lit areas when possible.
The sheriff’s office said most of these crimes occur because of opportunity and can often be prevented by taking these simple measures.
