Summary of the August 12, 2026 BOE Meeting
VOLUME 20 ISSUE 2
The open session was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and the pledge of allegiance was recited.
The board approved the consent agenda items which consisted of:
● July 15, 19, 28, 2026 regular session minutes
● July 2026 warrants
The board approved the following:
● Pre-Engineered Metal Building GMP Amendment for bid package 1C, as presented.
● Adult Lunch Prices for the 2026-2027 school year to $4.70 and adult breakfast $3.05.
● Seeking a playground equipment grant
● 2026-2027 Professional Development Plan
● Local Compliance Plan
● Budget amendment to include a food service truck purchase
The quarterly safety director report was presented by Officer Garrett Schott. Program
evaluations were on ELL-Migrant, Gifted, Homeless, Special Education, At-risk, Guidance and
Counseling programs. Employment opportunities were reviewed along with a financial report.
The tax rate hearing will be held on August 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
