JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri hunters harvested 8,515 deer during the firearms early antlerless portion of deer season, Oct. 10-12.
Last year’s early antlerless harvest total was 5,737.
Top three harvest counties: Franklin (254), Howell (232), Bollinger (205).
Perry County hunters harvested 147 deer: three antlered bucks, 13 button bucks and 131 does.
Ste. Genevieve County hunters harvested 108 deer: five antlered bucks, 15 button bucks and 88 does.
