PERRYVILLE – The Perry County School District No. 32 has released this summary of the February 11, 2026 BOE Meeting
The open session was called to order at 7 p.m. and the pledge of allegiance was recited.
The board approved the consent agenda items which consisted of:
- January 14, 2026 regular session minutes, and January 19, 2026 special session minutes
- January 2026 warrants Recognitions were presented for Cross Country Academic All-State: Micah Brown, Marcas Smith, Clayton Bauwens, Rodney Rauh, Katie Baggett, Alexa Hagan, Anna Rehagen, Lucy Blythe, Easton Blechle, Esveidy Antonio, Grace Buchheit, and Addie Kirn Recognitions were presented for Volleyball Academic All-State: Kaeli Klaus, Emma Blechle, Lydia Schlimpert, and Allyson Burns
Patron Comments: Leroy Ponder, regarding storm recovery efforts
The board approved the following:
- Learn Life Savers lesson plan will be implemented for the 26-27 school year.
- To proceed with requesting RFP’s for investment opportunities for insurance proceeds.
- Review of RFQ for a construction manager at risk, RFP’s will be requested of Brockmiller Construction, Robinson Construction, and Zoellner Construction.
A storm recovery update was given and Colin Rogers with Brockmiller spoke about the status of different projects around the district.
Program evaluations on the career & technical center and student health services were presented.
Updates were given on CSIP, student growth and achievement, along with mid-year benchmark data for the high school, a discussion regarding salutatorian and valedictorian and the graduation ceremony plan.
The 2025E policy updates were reviewed and policies GCPCA & GCPB were discussed.
