Summary of the June 11, 2025 BOE Meeting

VOLUME 18 ISSUE 12.1

 

The open session was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and the pledge of allegiance was recited.

 

The board approved the consent agenda items which consisted of:

  • MSBA policy updates 2025A
  • MSBA policies GCBA & GDBA
  • May 14, 2025 regular session minutes
  • June 6, 2025 special session minutes
  • May 2025 warrants A report from the National Weather Service was given and PCSD is designated as a Storm Ready School.

 

The following program evaluations were presented: Communications; Parent, Family & Community Involvement; and School Climate. The board approved the following:

  • Milk bid from Prairie Farms.
  • Bread bid from Bimbo Bakeries.
  • Foods & other supplies bid from Gold Star and US Foods.
  • Gas & Diesel Fuel bid from MFA Oil.
  • Breakfast & Lunch prices for the 2025-26 school year as follows: ○ Breakfast: K-5 $1.75 Grades 6-12: $1.80 ○ Lunch: K-5 $3.55 Grades 6-12: $3.60
  • Instructional materials from HMH into Math & i-Ready Classroom Mathematics The 2025-2026 budget was tabled until a meeting scheduled for June 25, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. An attendance report on the 2024-2025 school year was given along with the financial report for the district. The Special Olympics was the spotlight of the month and a video was shown along with the MSBA June 2025 video.
