Online job postings increase in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY – On line job postings in Missouri increased 23 percent from June 2024 to June 2025.

 

In June 2025, there were 71,960 online job postings compared to 58,740 in June 2024.

 

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 4.0 percent in Missouri in June 2025 was the same as last month’s (May2025) rate and higher than last year’s (June 2024) rate of 3.8 percent.

 

The following chart shows the top 10 occupations with the most online job postings in June2025 compared to the number of postings in June 2024.

 

 

Online job postings for all occupations increased compared to the same month last year, with Food Service Managers having the largest increase.

 

The following chart shows the industries with the most online job postings in June 2025 compared to the number of postings in June 2024.

 

 

Most industriesincreased from last year, apart from Educational Services, which decreased 11 percent.

 

Accommodation and Food Services had the largest increase at 44 percent.
