Occupational Employment and Wages in Missouri – 2025

The Mountain-Plains Information Office of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released Occupational Employment and Wages for 8 metropolitan areas in Missouri. These reports contain employment and wage data for 22 major occupational groups within these metropolitan areas. Acting Regional Commissioner Jerome Watters noted that the mean wage for all occupations in Missouri was $29.89 per hour in May 2025, compared to the U.S. average of $33.54. State wages for major occupational groups ranged from $17.11 per hour in food preparation and serving related jobs to $56.57 in legal occupations. Users can examine employment and average wages by major occupational group and detailed jobs for any of the below areas.
