November 4th Friday Art Walk kicks off holiday gift-giving season in Ste. Genevieve

STE, GENEVIEVE – There will be plenty of great art and a chance to save on high quality, unique gift items during Ste. Genevieve’s 4th Friday Art Walk on November 28.

“This is always a really good Art Walk,” an organizer says. “It’s a chance to kick off the holiday shopping season and find great gifts. Because a piece of original art can be a fabulous way to say happy holidays.”

ASL Pewter (on the Courthouse Square) will be celebrating the unique shop’s first “Green Friday” of the season. According to the owners, “Every Friday between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day is a ‘Green Friday’ when we take care of the sales tax on any purchase made in cash.”

Nearby, Silver Sycamore is featuring Jennifer Klemp demonstrating her flower resin jewelry techniques. “You’ve seen her barn quilts and dot paintings in the gallery, but come see how she creates unique jewelry with botanicals,” a spokesperson said. Plus the Gallery will offer a variety of affordable gifts.

The Ste. Genevieve Art Guild says the Art Center (at Merchant and Third) will be “brimming with giftable art for the annual Christmas Show, including the best offerings of 27 members who are showcasing their paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, cards and much more.”

In the Little Bohemia neighborhood on North Main Music Art Love will offer free live music by Ron Allen. The featured artists will be Kim Phillips and Mikayla Nelson, and you’ll find lots of unique merchandise.

E•KleK•Tix Studio and Gallery will be showing more than two dozen new paintings by J Rissover celebrating the holiday season…many priced to provide affordable gifts for art lovers…plus unique decorative items.

You’ll also find a wide variety of gift ideas at Only Child Originals and Rust, including clothing, accessories, art and decor.

Two Rivers Gallery will show work by well-known artist Bryan Haynes.

The three-hour event begins at 6pm. It is family-friendly and open to everyone. Most activities are free.

The November Art Walk is the final Art Walk of 2025. Art Walks will resume early next year.
