ST. LOUIS, MO – The National Weather Service has completed its survey of damage caused by a tornado Sunday evening south of Red Bud, Illinois.

In its report, the NWS stated: “An EF-0 tornado with peak winds of 85 mph touched down north of Ames, IL in Monroe County at 5:35pm on March 15. The tornado crossed into Randolph County northwest of Ruma, damaging trees and outbuildings. The tornado lifted eight minutes later north of Grigg, IL at 5:43pm.
