CHESTER – The Mississippi Valley Art Guild is hosting a patriotic party on June 20, noon to 3 pm, in honor of our nation’s 250th birthday.
There will be a chance to paint a canvas with a patriotic design. Guests will also have a chance to make things such as an Uncle Sam wall hanging, a patriotic key fob or a beaded ink pen.
Younger ones can make faux stained glass stars or a patriotic foam dog magnet. There will also be snacks and attendance prizes.
Several MVAG artists will have tables set up demonstrating their talents.
So stop by the art guild at 611 State St., Chester IL and have a little patriotic fun.
