PERRYVILLE, MO — University of Missouri Extension in Perry County is bringing AARP’s popular Senior Planet curriculum to local older adults with an upcoming educational session titled “Passwords, Passkeys, and More.” The workshop is designed to help area seniors reduce the frustration of managing multiple online accounts while strengthening their personal cybersecurity.
As digital accounts become central to daily life, keeping track of logins can be overwhelming. This interactive, accessible lecture will cover password fundamentals before diving into modern, highly secure alternatives. Participants will explore convenient security options like single sign-on (SSO), passkeys, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and digital password managers. Attendees will leave understanding how these tools simplify their digital experience while protecting sensitive personal and financial data.
