SIKESTON – Contractors for the Missouri Department of Transportation will commence work on two Ste. Genevieve projects this morning.
Route 32 (Fourth Street) in Ste. Genevieve will be reduced to one lane starting at 7 a.m. with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews improve sidewalks.
This section of roadway is located from Rozier St. to Linn Dr. in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation’s initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Weather permitting, work will continue through Friday, Jan. 16 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Contractor crews will also improve the sidewalks on Route 61 (Ste. Genevieve Drive) in Ste. Genevieve.
This project is part of the MoDOT’s initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
This section of roadway is located from Route 32 to Donze Street.
A 10-foot width restriction will also be in place while construction is underway.
Weather permitting, work is also scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. with completion anticipated Friday, Jan. 16, 2026.
