PERRYVILLE, Mo. – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial invites the public to participate in a special Candlelight Vigil Friday, September 19, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. to honor and remember America’s Prisoners of War and those who are Missing in Action.
The MNVM announced in a news release: “This moving evening of reflection will pay tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our nation’s heroes who have yet to return home.”
Activities will include a Candlelight Vigil at 6:30 p.m.
The Welcome Center, Military Museum and Gift Shop will be open 6-8 p.m.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to tour the Military Museum and learn more about the service and sacrifice that continue to inspire generations.
The gift shop will featuring POW/MIA commemorative merchandise.
The Gift Shop will feature two exclusive items: a POW/MIA commemorative coin and a POW/MIA tshirt. These meaningful keepsakes are a powerful way to honor those who served while supporting the mission of Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial.
“Let us ensure that the sacrifices of our nation’s Prisoners of War and Missing in Action are never forgotten,” the news release stated in conclusion.
