PERRYVILLE – Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial (MNVM) invites families from across the region to celebrate Independence Day with a special Kids Day event on Saturday, July 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the National Memorial in Perryville.

As part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, Kids Day offers young visitors an engaging opportunity to explore the Memorial, learn about the sacrifices of our nation’s Veterans, and experience history in a fun and meaningful way.
During the event, children will receive an activity card and journey throughout the Memorial grounds, visiting each monument and collecting punches along the way. At each stop, they will discover stories of service, sacrifice, and patriotism that have shaped our nation.
Once their card is completed, participants will receive a special surprise in Welcome Cener. The event is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to spend the day exploring the Memorial’s monuments, exhibits, and grounds while celebrating the freedoms secured by generations of American service members.
Kids Day is part of MNVM’s ongoing mission to preserve the stories of America’s Veterans and educate future generations about the cost of freedom and the importance of service.
