JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri WIC Approved Food List now includes fresh herbs for participants to purchase with their monthly cash value benefits (CVB).
Dried herbs, spices, pastes, seeds and plants are not WIC-approved.
The formula company Abbott announced a name and label change for Similac Total Comfort to Similac Gentle Comfort. Depending on the retailer, cans with the new name and label may already be on shelves. The ounces, UPCs and formula itself will not change with this transition.
Participants do not need to update their benefits for this change. The 12.6 oz can of Total Comfort or Gentle Comfort may be purchased if the infant is issued Similac Total Comfort.
