SEDALIA, Mo. – The Missouri State Fair Foundation is now accepting nominations for the Missouri Agriculture Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
The Missouri Agricultural Hall of Fame was created in 2023 to recognize farmers, ranchers, and agri-business leaders who have made an outstanding contribution to Missouri agriculture. Nominees for the Hall of Fame are evaluated by a committee made up of representatives from the Missouri Department of Agriculture, the Missouri State Fair Commission, and the Missouri State Fair Foundation. Nominees who are selected for induction into the Hall of Fame will be honored during the annual awards ceremony.
Typically this event is held in April each year.
Selection Criteria
- The nominee shall have made important contributions to the establishment, development, advancement, or improvement of agriculture in Missouri.
- The nominee should have promoted and demonstrated the values and dignity historically associated with the agrarian lifestyle.
- The nominee’s achievements must have a lasting impact on Missouri agriculture.
The selection committee will consider diversity in their selections regarding nominees from different geographical areas and sectors of agriculture as well as women and minorities.
To nominate a deserving individual for the class of 2026, complete the Nomination Form by September 15th, 2025.
