PERRYVILLE – Mercy Convenient Care – 1508 Edgemont will close effective end of day Friday, July 17, to make way for the expanded walk-in format to be located at Mercy Primary Care – 212 Hospital Lane Suite 101B.
This walk-in care option — designed to better serve patients by improving access to quality care and reducing wait times — will open Monday, Aug. 17, and offer expanded hours for patients to find immediate care from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Patients can still be seen for the same minor illnesses and injuries typically treated by convenient care at the new location, including:
• Conjunctivitis (pinkeye)
• Coughs, colds, flu or COVID-19
• Earaches
• Insect or animal bites
• Rashes
• Sinus infections
• Sore throat
• Upset stomach and nausea
• Urinary tract infections
• And more
Caregivers serving at the convenient care will transition to other locations in Perryville to continue caring for patients.
Established patients are encouraged to reach out to their primary care provider for ongoing or routine care needs, while patients without a primary care provider can call 573-768-3220 to be directed to the most appropriate care option.
