Memorial Hospital Welcomes New Provider

Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Lindsay Gwaltney, MSN, FNP-BC, BC-ADM, to its Specialty

Clinic team. Gwaltney will provide outpatient nephrology services in collaboration with Dr. Vamsi

Chilluru, expanding access to specialized kidney care for patients throughout the region.

Gwaltney began her career in healthcare as a licensed practical nurse before becoming a registered

nurse. Throughout her nursing career, she gained experience in a variety of healthcare settings,

including both inpatient and outpatient dialysis services. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing

from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and began practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner

in 2020.

Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and in Advanced Diabetes Management, Gwaltney brings

extensive clinical experience caring for patients with complex chronic conditions. Her professional

background includes positions with Mercy Health System, Washington University School of Medicine,

and Saint Louis University/SSM Health, where she has served in advanced practice roles focused on

endocrinology, diabetes management, and patient education.

In addition to her clinical work, Gwaltney has been involved in healthcare quality improvement

initiatives, provider education, clinical research, and professional speaking engagements across the

region. She is recognized for her commitment to evidence-based care and improving patient outcomes

through collaboration and innovation.

Nephrology clinics with Gwaltney and Dr. Chilluru are expected to begin in late summer 2026 and will be

held monthly on Fridays. Patients will have access to specialized evaluation and management of kidney-
