CHESTER – The Mississippi Valley Art Guild is hosting a Meet the Artists Open House on Saturday, July 19, from 1- 4 pm at 611 State Street.
Many of the art guild members will be demonstrating their talents such as woodworking, stained glass, jewelry design, along with painting using alcohol inks and acrylic paints. It’s an opportunity to ask the artists about their art skills.
There will be attendance prizes donated by woodworker Bill Lang given away every 30 minutes. There will also be a grand attendance prize of one free class at the choice of the winner to be taken any time this year.
