A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 for 90-year-old Mary Ann Moore of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Friday, February 27, 2026 at Cedarhurst of Farmington.
She was born August 15, 1935 in Perryville, MO to Gilbert Andrew and Leona Marie (Lurk) Sutterer, who both preceded her in death.
Mary Ann and Robert Moore were married December 28, 1957 at the Church of the Assumption in Perryville, MO. They were blessed with 55 years of marriage. Robert preceded her on September 3, 2013.
Survivors include nine children, Patrick Moore, Kathryn Stephen, Michael Moore, John Moore, Loraine Layton, Thomas Moore, Robert Moore, Jr., Andrew Moore, Mary LeClere; sister, Betty Formahals-Youngman; sister-in-law, Doris Sutterer; twenty-four grandchildren, Andrew Moore, Ryan Moore, Lauren Chiba, Emily Stephen, Rachael Stephen, Justin Moore, Jacob Layton, Melissa Bowen, Robert Moore, III, Roman Moore, Caroline Moore, Griffin Moore, Christopher Moore, Matthew Moore, Shannon Steward, Kayla Nichols, Janel Hurst, Kali Strange, Ashleigh Wilmoth, Drew Jenkinson, Sasha Huffman, Gwendolyn Moore, Megan LeClere, Adelaide LeClere; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Braylee Nichols, Dakota Nichols, Keegan Burch, Royce Kehoe, Maren Hurst, Naomi Jenkinson, Rhett Jenkinson, Elliot Strange, Brooke Bowen, Mary Layton, Mallory Layton, Weston Moore, Brooklyn Moore, Laynie Moore, Kelsie Moore, Maylie Moore, Quinnley Steward, Lincoln Steward, Arlo Chiba, Kenji Chiba, Clark Huffman.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Sutterer.
Mary Ann retired after 37 years of dedicated service as a registered nurse at Perry County Memorial Hospital. Her specialty was obstetrics and new born.
Mary Ann and Bob raised nine children and loved spending time with her 24 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She had a special interest in working outdoors in her garden and also enjoyed baking and sewing.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville where she was a devout Catholic and a former extraordinary minister of the Eucharist.
Visitation will be from 9-9:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 90-year-old Mary Ann Moore of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Tony Dosen C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Vincent de Paul Educational Foundation.
