A funeral will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 for 83-year-old Martha Lea Vogt who passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 2, 1942, to Merlin and Maryan Williams, who both preceded her in death.
On January 18, 1969, Martha married the love of her life, Earl F. Vogt. Together, they shared many years of devotion and partnership. Martha played an integral role in building their successful business, offering unwavering support, dedication, and hard work throughout their life together.
Martha is survived by her loving husband, Earl; her children; her sister sisters-in-law; and her nieces and nephews, all of whom will cherish her memory.
She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Martha was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, and traveling with her husband. A gracious hostess with a keen eye for detail, she was naturally gifted in interior design and took great pride in creating welcoming, beautiful spaces for family and friends.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Basler Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Inurnment will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Center.
