Martha C. Hermann

A funeral will be held Monday, June 16, 2025  for 88-year-old Martha C Hermann of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away June 11, 2025.

 

She was born December 28, 1936, a daughter to Carl Rottler and Elizabeth (Kraenzle) Rottler.

 

She married Arthur Hermann. He preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by a son: Wayne Hermann; four daughters: Lorraine (Ronnie) Uding,  Annette (David) Filer, Collette (Brian) Koscielski, and Christine Hermann; a son: Greg Hermann; a brother: Charles (Betty) Rottler, a sister: Mercedes Miller; grandchildren: Brad (Special Friend, Emily) Uding, Michael (Amber) Filer, Brittany (Brandon) Stone, Jessica (Evan) Weiler, Maddison Hermann, Erin Koscielski, Carly Koscielski, Great-Grandchildren, Gavin Stone, Mason Uding, Gracie Stone, and Cooper Weiler.

 

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Colleen Hermann; a brother: Leo Rottler; a brother-in-law: Melvin Miller.

 

Martha was a member of the First Settlement Quilt Club, VFW Auxiliary, Sodality of Mary, Weingarten Parish where she was a member of the choir, and she was involved in Pro-Life organizations, and was a homemaker and part-time mail carrier.

 

Martha was an avid quilter, enjoyed sewing, and a good game of bingo. She was a talented gardener and baker, especially the chocolate chip cookies that her grandkids loved. Martha valued socializing throughout Ste. Genevieve and spending time with friends and family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother,  grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend.

 

Martha will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2025 and 8-9:30 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

 

A funeral for 88-year-old Martha C Hermann of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Weingarten.

 

Burial will be at the Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Weingarten, Mo.

 

Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital
