Mark A. L’Hote, 81, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Riverview At The Park Care & Rehab Center in Ste. Genevieve, MO.
He was born August 14, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Arthur Joseph and Georgia Marie (Farrar) L’Hote.
Mark and Vickie Steinbecker were married on June 10, 1967 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. She survives him in Perryville.
He worked as an agriculture farmer and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perryville Elks Lodge #2701 and the Perry County Sportsman Club.
Mark enjoyed golfing, camping, gardening and cooking over an open fire. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie; daughter, Christie A. (Don) Lind; son, Brian (Julie) L’Hote; two sisters, Faye (Glenn) Zoellner, Nancy (Thomas) Balsman; five grandchildren, Nicholas (Kathryn) Rich, Briana (Dustin) Lincoln, Justin (Morgan) L’Hote, Ashley (Tyler) Glueck, Kellie L’Hote; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Fred Wandera C.M. officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
