PERRYVILLE — There was one filing Tuesday for the Perry County School District No. 32 Board of Education election in April.
Newcomer Linda Buerck filed Tuesday for one of three three-year terms.
There are four open seats on the ballot as the terms of incumbents
The terms of board members Jamie Robinson, Glendon Sattler, Nancy Voelker and Terry Wichern expire in April.
Terry Wichern was selected by the Board to fill a vacancy following the resignation of Melissa Carroll in October 2025. He will serve until the April 2026 election at which time voters will elect a Board member to complete the remainder of Carroll’s term, which expires in April 2027.
Filing ends December 30.
