LFCS to hold Labor Day Raffle to support local families

CAPE GIRARDEAU – As summer winds down and Labor Day approaches, Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS) in Cape Girardeau invites the community to participate in its festive “Stars, Stripes and Relaxing Nights” raffle. Participants will have a chance to win a luxurious backyard entertainment package valued at $1,300 – all while supporting critical services for families across Southeast Missouri.

“Our prize package includes everything needed to create a cozy, backyard oasis, perfect for enjoying one last summer celebration, and for the cool fall nights ahead – winding down under the stars,” said Christy O’Neal, Regional Development Officer. “Even better, every ticket purchased helps us continue to support children and families in our community with the resources they need to thrive.”

The “Stars, Stripes and Relaxing Nights” package includes:

Endless Summer “Americana” LP Gas Fire Pit (40” x 28” x 25”)

Two Sarasota Breeze Folding Adirondack Chairs, complete with seat cushions and pillows

Terraen Flag Cornhole Set

Lifetime 55 Quart Rolling Cooler, filled with a variety of beverages

Four Bamboo Tiki Torches

Soundlogic XT “The Extreme” Bluetooth Speaker with remote and microphone included

A Red, White & Blue Star Quilt – handmade and donated by Cape LFCS staff member Evelyn Beussink

How to Participate

Tickets are available at $25 each, three for $50, or seven for $100, and can be purchased online at lfcsmo.org/raffle. The tickets are also available for purchase in person at the Cape office. For those who wish to see the package in person, all items are currently on display at LFCS’s office at 3178 Blattner Drive, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 63703. 

The winning entry will be drawn on August 27. Entrants do not need to be present to win. Winners must be 21 years of age or older and be able to pick up their items at the LFCS Cape Girardeau office.
