A funeral will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 for 61-year-old Laura Ann Cleiman of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 10:56 am, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her residence.
She was born December 31, 1963 in Gibson City, Illinois to Lendle and Ruth (nee Hartsock) Milligan who both preceded her in death.
Laura married Meredith “Butch” Cleiman on February 14, 2003 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 24, 2024.
She is survived by a daughter: Christina Jackson (Duane Haffner) of Chester, IL, a sister: Pam (Mike) Schroeder of Chester, IL, a brother-in-law: Robert Cleiman Chester, IL, grandchildren: Hunter Downey, Cole Jackson and Jacob Jackson; a niece: Danyel (Jason) Martin Chester, IL; nephew: William (Katina) Zettler Sesser, IL; two great nephews: Michael Martin and Wyatt Zettler.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Bradley Jackson, Jr. and a brother: Bruce Milligan.
She had worked as a housekeeper at Chester Memorial Hospital for over 18 years.
Laura was a member of Second Baptist Church in DuQuoin, Illinois.
She enjoyed collecting rocks, decorating and spending time with her family.
