June 4th Friday Art Walk will be June 27

STE. GENEVIEVE – Six unique art galleries will be featured during Ste. Genevieve’s 4th Friday Art Walk on June 27, from 6pm to 9pm.

 

Two Rivers Gallery–Ste. Genevieve’s newest art space, located at 73 North Main Street–will celebrate it’s grand opening during the Art Walk, featuring celebrated artist Bryan Haynes, known for his images of the French and Osage and early pioneers who settled this region. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

 

At 130 North Main E•KLeK•TiX Studio & Gallery will show art by owner J Rissover including paintings inspired by the town’s French history. (Select pieces 10 percent off.) E•KLeK•TiX will also celebrate Rissover’s 83rd birthday. Drop by for a complimentary birthday cupcake and refreshments.

 

In the same block, Music Art Love will have free live music by Rocky Martin Music. Featured works by local artist Iris Vincent and art by Dr. Piotr Kulikowski will be on display along with other unique merchandise.

 

Visitors will find handmade art, jewelry and fantastic metal work by Sam Conlon at Only Child Originals and delightful art, creative crafts and clothing across the street at Rust.

 

On the courthouse square, at Silver Sycamore Gallery featured artist and graphic designer Brenda Gilliam will give a short presentation on her unique approach to her paintings. A gallery representative said “there will be the gallery’s usual diverse display of beautiful artwork to enjoy, so come and plan to stay a while.”

 

Also on the square the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild’s member exhibit of over 100 artworks including paintings, drawings, pottery, jewelry and sculpture will be on display.

 

The Art Walk is open to everyone. Most activities are free.
