A funeral will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 for 44-year-old Joselyn Rector of Pevely, MO who passed away June 30, 2025.
She was born September 5, 1980 a daughter of Bill Rector who survives and Barbara Rector who preceded her in death.
She is also survived by sons: Vincent Wittu and Jaxon Harper; sisters: Denise Huck and Annette Rector; a brother: Jason Rector; nieces and nephews: Stephanie (Carl) Grass, Courtney (Alex) Gegg, Tristan Huck, Ryan (Tessa) Ochoa, Reece Elliott, and Gage Wittu-Elliott.
She was also preceded in death by a brother: Michael Elliott.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2025 and 8-11 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vincent Wittu to help with expenses and to support his and his brother Jaxon’s future.
Joselyn was known for her incredibly big heart, her kindness to all, and her unwavering willingness to help anyone in need. Her true joy came from her family, especially her two beloved sons, Vincent and Jaxon. Joselyn extended her immense love to her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Courtney, Tristan, Ryan, Reece, and Gage; whom she affectionately called “her babies,” treating them as her own. Family gatherings were cherished times filled with laughter, love, and, most notably, music. Joselyn had a deep love for singing with her siblings and her “babies,” creating countless treasured memories and “Josie’s songs” that will live on in their hearts. To know Joselyn was to love her. Her heart, though big enough to embrace everyone, sadly couldn’t keep up. She will be profoundly missed and forever treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
