Jefferson College invites prospective students to ‘Preview Day’ March 7

HILLSBORO & ARNOLD, MO  – It’s an open house event like no other.

Jefferson College will welcome hundreds of community members to its upcoming Preview Day Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m.-Noon, and everyone is invited.

This event offers an inside look at the college’s diverse academic programs, campus culture, and student support services under the theme, “You Belong Here!”.

Preview Day is designed for prospective students, transfer students, and families to explore the many pathways available at Jefferson College. It’s geared towards the needs of any learner who is considering furthering their education, whether they are a current high school student, an adult with years of work experience, or a former student who paused their studies and wants to explore returning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Tour the Campus: Get a first-hand look at the facilities and learning environments.
  • Explore Programs: Discover a wide range of degree and certificate options.
  • Meet Faculty & Staff: Connect with instructors and advisors who are dedicated to student success.
  • Learn About Student Services: Find out about financial aid, tutoring, and other resources designed to help students thrive.

Two Locations: The event will be held simultaneously at the following locations:

  • Hillsboro Campus: 1000 Viking Drive, Hillsboro, MO 63050.
  • Arnold Location: 1687 Missouri State Road, Arnold, MO 63010.

            ○ Note: The Arnold location will specifically showcase programs available at the Arnold campus, including the Law Enforcement Academy, EMT/Paramedic, and Biotechnology. The         Hillsboro campus serves as the college’s main hub, offering a broad range of degree and         certificate options across various fields of study, including technical trades and liberal arts. In            contrast, the Arnold location functions as a specialized center for public safety and emerging     sciences which also offers general transfer courses. Specifically, the Arnold campus represents    the Law Enforcement Academy, EMT/Paramedic programs, and Biotechnology. While general            student services and degree exploration are available at both sites, students interested in these     specific public safety and laboratory career paths will find their primary resources and faculty at          the Arnold facility.

Perks for Students: To make the day even better, students who attend will receive free food and a Jefferson College T-shirt (while supplies last).
