GLEN CARBON, Illinois – Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois (GSofSI) is excited to announce that our Build-A-Bear Workshop in our Council Shop in Glen Carbon is turning one! Everyone is invited to come celebrate this occasion with us – no Girl Scout membership required!
Join us on August 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (open house style) for bear-building fun, special activities, and celebration. This no-cost event will feature badge earning opportunities for Girl Scouts (Daisies-Juniors; girls can sign up for Girl Scouts on this day as well), cotton candy, photo ops with your furry friends, rock painting, hair accessory making, and much more! Plus, anyone who has a Build-A-Bear furry friend made during the event can enter to win a FREE furry friend on their next visit!
